Define "Many". 1.000 ? 1.000.000 ? More ?
Post by Frankthere is an error
What does the error say ? Have you googled for the error and if so, what
did you find ?
Post by FrankYou also cannot copy a file from this directory
Does that mean you can still copy to *other* directories on the same stick ?
And can you *delete* files files from that folder and/or the stick ?
Also, does the problem persist when the stick is ejected and than
re-inserted ? If not, can you re-format the problematic stick ?
Post by FrankIs there a limitation for USB memory sticks?
Yes, but most are those are the same as for normal disk (full path length
less-or-equal to 260 chars, filesize for FAT 32 limited to 2 GByte). The
only one really differing is the maximum number of write-cycles, which I
don't think is a problem here.
And a question: Are you sure the stick isn't simply busy digesting all the
data, and will start to respond again when you give it a little time ?
Remark: When asking a question try to be as precise as you can ("gave an
error" without mentioning which one isn't really helpful), and also mention
everything you thought of to try to solve the problem yourself. Don't let
us guess to what you already know.
In short, assume we do not know anything about the problem or what you did
to solve it, and you have to tell us everything. :-)
As for you problem, I've not heard about it before, nor do I have an idea
(other than a few long-shot guesses) what is causing it.

Post by FrankDear people,
I want to copy many files onto a USB stick.
The files are from a database and are stored
file by file via a CLongBinary object.
The problem: sometimes, when many files are stored,
there is an error and you can't store any more files.
You also cannot copy a file from this directory
with the file explorer, although there is plenty
of free space on the stick.
